Biko, Young Male Wire-Haired Dachshund : Humane Society of Dallas
DOB 10-2006 Biko was found on the side of a country road as a very young puppy, about five weeks old. He came to live in the city of Dallas for the past year, and due to personal reasons, his owner brought him to shelter with a very heavy heart.
Biko is a Wire-haired Dachshund mix with great love for humans. He enjoys being around people. He is not sure about young children. He is more scared of them than anything else. He would appreciate the company of older kids who could throw him a ball or a toy. Biko will chase the toy and bring it back. Sometimes, he will stand there, wait for the person to come to him and than run off with the object. He thinks it’s a lot of fun! His favorite is a squeaky toy. He used to have a trunk full of toys. He definitely enjoys being an indoor pet.
Since he was raised with a cat, he absolutely LOVES them. His best friend was an orange and white cat that he misses much. Biko is a handsome boy who is hoping for a new pet parent soon who will give him a lot of love and vice a versa.
